Media Hunt 2026, on March 11, 2026. Held under the theme “Where Creativity Meets the Camera & the Crowd,” the event provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their creative and technical talents.
The event featured a series of engaging activities, including Poster Making, Caption Writing, Reel Making, Voice of People, and Photography. Students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating innovation, storytelling ability, and a keen eye for detail across all categories.

The students were accompanied by Ms. Vanika Arora and Ms. Geeta Rani, Assistant Professors of Commerce and Management. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and help them understand the real-world application of business and commerce concepts. During the visit, company representatives introduced the students to the history, growth, and operations of Ranson Sports Pvt. Ltd. Students visited different sections of the manufacturing unit and observed the process of producing sports goods such as footballs and cricket equipment. The visit concluded with an interactive session where students asked questions about the company’s operations, export activities, and career opportunities in the sports goods industry.

International Happiness Day was enthusiastically celebrated at CT Institute of Higher Studies (CTIHS) on 19th March 2026 at 1:30 PM by the Humanities department. The event was organized with the aim of promoting positivity, emotional well-being, and creative expression among students.
The celebration began with an inspiring motivational talk delivered by Dr. Vikrant Rehani and Ms. Perminder Kaur, who highlighted the importance of happiness, mental health, and maintaining a positive perspective in everyday life. The event further included a range of creative activities organized under the keen observance and guidance of HOD mam Ms RatikaRelan and Fine Art Faculty Mr Harpreet Singh that witnessed active participation from students. An activity corner was also set up where students contributed by writing the reasons for their smiles on sticky notes, collectively creating a meaningful “Happiness Wall.”
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the efforts and talents of participants were acknowledged and rewarded by Principal of the institute Dr SeemaArora.
CTIHS , Computer department organised Binary Battle on March 16, 2026. It was an interactive quiz competition based on the binary number system, which is the fundamental language used by computers. In this quiz, participants answered questions related to binary numbers, digital logic, computer basics, and number system conversions. The main purpose of the quiz was to enhance students’ understanding of how computers process information using only two digits: 0 and 1.
Alumni Talk was organized. The alumni-led workshop successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industry practices, offering students a platform to gain firsthand insights from accomplished professionals.
